A client, a table, and one evening without an agenda

2026-09-18

Jiaxing, Zhejiang — 10 September 2026 — Jiaxing Anita Electrical Co., Ltd. recently hosted a client appreciation dinner at a local restaurant in Jiaxing, inviting one of its key clients to spend the evening with the company's team.

The dinner was kept deliberately informal. There was no presentation, no catalogue on the table and no agenda beyond good food and honest conversation. Hosts and guest sat together for several hours, moving easily between business and everyday topics — the kind of talk that rarely fits inside a meeting room or a video call.

For a company whose work revolves around long supply chains, long lead times and tightly specified products, the evening served as a reminder that partnerships are still formed between people rather than between purchase orders. Specifications can be emailed; trust generally cannot.

"Most of our conversations are about specifications, prices and delivery dates," said our client. "It was good to put faces to the email addresses. Once you have shared a table with someone, the next problem is much easier to solve together."

"We are grateful that our client took the time to sit down with us," said a member of our export team. "Orders follow trust, and trust is built in person. That is why we keep making time for evenings like this one."

Conversation also turned to the practical side of the relationship: how demand has been moving this year, what our client is seeing in their own channels, and how stock can be planned more calmly around freight schedules and seasonal peaks. No decisions were made over dinner — that is not what the evening was for — but the context gained at the table will shape how both sides approach the next round of orders and sampling.

We extend our sincere thanks to our client for the evening, and we look forward to the next stage of the journey together. To discuss a new project at any time, write to [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp at +86 150 6821 3630.
